That's what they say about a picture. Well today after our temple assignment, we drove with 4 others to see beautiful pictures from an artist named Michael Bedard. He and his wife moved from St. George to Nauvoo. His website is https://bedardfinearts.com

We traveled on a dirt road just north of the Mississippi River to the studio on 7 acres of land. We were greeted by 3 cats in the yard. Once inside the timber-framed home, we were introduce to Michael and his amazing art. Each painting represented a historically significant moment in time. The artist shared that in his previous life he drove a UTA bus to support his family of 7 kids! Now he paints, photographs and prints his own Giclee quality artwork. He freely bares his soul about his passion.

Poignant pioneer, patriotic and personal paintings fill the walls of the studio. Numerous works were commissions taking years to research and complete. My personal favorites were 'First Vision' and 'Brothers Keeper'. Make sure to check out his website.
