Or, Cowboy Snowmobile! Today dawned clear and bright with some pretty fresh snow on the ground. We had the opportunity to join with some of the site and FM missionaries to utilize the horses for an old fashioned sleigh ride. We went with our neighbors the Whitneys and Kathy Palmer to the barns at the end of the road. We bundled up warm and climbed aboard. As you can see, the horses (named Alvin and Hyrum) are bigger than the sled! We took a brisk, short ride with the Nauvoo Temple as a backdrop. It was a first for all of us. We wondered if the horses feet were cold. I'm sure that Sheri wished she had brought some little horse boots for them, but we were assured that their hooves were built for the job.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Here's the Browning Building. It has been such an important part of our lives. It deserves mention as we begin telling the story of our 1 year journey.
