It's the little things.

Some days, you notice little things you normally take for granted.

For instance, my wife humming a tune – on a daily basis, fireflies, big, red, bushy-tailed squirrels that seem to be everywhere – every day!

Miles and miles of freshly mowed grass. Walks by the Nauvoo Blacksmith Shop while stopping to shoot the breeze with the site missionaries. Flocks of geese, ducks and even eagles.

And this might not seem so little, but hundreds (yes hundreds) of young people that chose to come to the Nauvoo Temple to do baptisms for the dead as part of their senior trip! We don't take pictures of them, but they have been so impressive. Brothers and sisters, cousins and just good friends that opted to celebrate a small pearl of great price that they have sought and found. A little thing that is going to make all the difference.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Here's the Browning Building. It has been such an important part of our lives. It deserves mention as we begin telling the story of our 1 year journey.
